Communications and Administration Assistant (CIP)

Are you a dynamic, well-organized, and creative individual seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced
European Association? We are offering an exciting internship opportunity in Brussels that starts in September
2023. As a Communications and Administration Assistant, you will work closely with our ESAE Board of
Directors and engage with our Community of European Association Leaders.

Starting date: September 2023

Duration of the contract: 6 months, starting on 4 September 2023 with the possibility of an extension

Type of contract: Belgium CIP (Contrat d'Immersion Porfessionnelle)

Location: Hybrid working with 3 days a week at ESAE's office in Brussels

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be diverse, allowing you to explore various aspects of communication, administration, and event operations:

Design marketing and promotional collateral, including video editing.
Draft post-event reports and maintain the ESAE website.
Contribute to the development of email campaigns, newsletters, and engaging social media posts.
Manage the Society's CRM/AMS and update the membership registry.
Assist the ESAE Board and Secretariat with essential operational and administrative tasks.
Coordinate and execute virtual and face-to-face events, including registration management, logistical support and travel arrangements.

Personal specifications

The ideal candidate is passionate about their work and thrives on completing tasks with precision and creativity. You possess a valuable mix of communication and operational skills, including:

Excellent spoken and written English.
Background and/or experience in Communications, EU Public Affairs, and/or Events management.
Proven experience with video editing tools, website management platforms, and managing databases
(CRM/AMS).
Demonstrated interest in European Affairs and/or the not-for-profit sector.
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
